Whether you find yourself immersed in bliss with another individual or in awe that you’re still spending time with someone who might not be right... it’s important to understand that everyone enters your life for a reason. When the time comes and you feel like you’ve finally found the person that gets you with little effort, the one who makes you feel like the best version of yourself, who allows you to realize why you moved on from the others, you’ll understand why your past relationships have led you there. If that hasn’t happened yet, allow yourself to fully submerge into what feels right and understand that no matter the outcome, it will lead to self-growth.

It’s important to understand that when you allow yourself to be open with another individual, it stems from an internal longing for connection and desire. When you feel that pure connection, trust your instincts until that feeling shifts. It’s important to come to terms with the ideology that the people you let in are there for all of the right moments and all of the right reasons, even if it takes time to realize that. If your situation hurts or brings you pain, allow yourself to let go but remember that the experience will be a guiding light on a path of learning about yourself. Whether it’s understanding how you want to be loved, how you cope with strife, how to be more compassionate or how to understand what you really want from this vast world that we live in, it’s all a part of the journey. You’ve allowed them into your life because it felt right and you should honor that.

Learn from what you’re living and who you’re loving. If you feel it’s a good thing, keep it around. If it’s not, keep it moving...but be sure to take note. You’ll understand when you feel most comfortable, what hurts you. You’ll understand what you love and what other people can bring out of the darkness to help you learn to love yourself. Realize that everyone will see you in a different light but the most important thing to take out of your relationships with others is how you allow that to drive your relationship with yourself.
