Daydreams

Remove yourself

And slowly

She’ll find her way

                              Back through the

Trail of

            Scatter-brained

                                    Thoughts

Of your

            Sleepy-headed

                                    Twilight

Daydreams.

To Them

A collective “You” who

Can console me when I don’t know how to be

Consoled.

You

        Know my kaleidoscopic heart

And have helped me paint my

Water colored memories.

You

       Introduce me to the intriguing

And pull me back from perils.

You

Shout when others say to sing.

You

       Appreciate the roots and respect

Runs deep within your core.

You

       Never ask for more

Unless it be

For time to spend with one another,

Late night coffee runs,

One more episode,

A random dance party,

Or anything of those sorts.

I hope

You hold the title with great honor,

My Dear Friends.

Thank You

Lying in the temporary

She began to speak

To the Eternal.

And the waters rolled

Washing and letting

The stories unfold

Into spoken words.

Cleansed and a little congested

She ended

With a simple and

Genuine

Thank You.

Amen.
